River Row off Castle Street in Omagh. It was a complete gut out and renovation project.
The building has had many uses through the years. At one stage it would have been commercial properties converted to rental spaces and then converted back to a commercial property that runs to Castle Street. You can see the plasterwork had had patchwork repairs but this time something a major renovation was required.
This photo shows the extent of the preliminary work. Note we opened up the upstairs windows to allow more light into the property.
Here you can see the renovation in full flow. The windows were being installed here which allows the building to become secure.
Most people don’t realise the level of complexity a large scale renovation involves. As you can see the water services, electrical services and insulation on the first floor. Managing a project like this means we ensure these services arrive on time and on budget.
Here can see out team readying a roof for new slates with attic vents for air circulation as specified under building control guidelines.
As you can see the end product is a considerable improvement and ready for many years of use.
The plasterwork was finished with stylish coins, exterior boiler house and fenced bin area. You can also see new spoutings and soil pipes.
The property required ramp access.
